Our Story
God is exalted. Lives are changed.
Deliverance Christian Center is a place for worship, discipleship, and reaching people with the Gospel.
How it began
The burning in his heart to see souls saved led Pastor Alonzo McDaniel to share the Gospel under bridges, in back alleys, on street corners, and wherever his feet could tread. God allowed him to see many souls delivered and set free.
He served under the late Bishop James E. Hilton at Fayetteville Deliverance Evangelistic Center in Fayetteville, North Carolina, faithfully carrying out every task given to him until God made clear it was time to run with the vision placed in his heart.
The Lord led him and his wife, Evangelist Fredericka McDaniel, to Jacksonville to start Deliverance Christian Center, a church where God is exalted and the devil is defeated.
